My new coworker, who by the way is in her early 30s and a whole two salary grades above me, is currently sitting with her feet propped up at her desk, back turned to her computer, giving herself a pedicure.
Since when is that an appropriate activity for work? Really...I'm just at a loss. Aside from the obvious issue of "isn't there something you should be doing, like, oh, I don't know, WORKING?", I also happen to know that the carpeting here is not rife with good hygiene.
I guess it just wasn't enough that her lunches smelled like twice-used gym socks....
